Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently staying away from Mannat as the iconic bungalow undergoes renovation. Until the work is completed, SRK has shifted to Puja Casa, a premium apartment building in Mumbai owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani. And this shift has created a fun moment in the Bhagnani family — especially for actor Rakul Preet Singh.
Rakul, who is married to Jackky Bhagnani, also lives in a building within the same property. Recently, during an interview with Siddharth Kannan, she revealed how excited she was when she heard that Shah Rukh Khan would temporarily stay in their building.
Rakul’s Fan Moment
With a big laugh, Rakul shared that she has always been a huge fan of SRK. So when Jackky informed her that the Bollywood legend would be moving into a flat owned by their family, she immediately told him:
“If he needs anything at home, if a bulb is not working or anything at all… send me! I want to be there.”
Rakul said this jokingly but admitted that she genuinely wanted a chance to meet the superstar.
‘I Was Upset Jackky Met Him Before Me’
When Shah Rukh Khan finally moved into the apartment, Rakul was busy shooting for De De Pyaar De 2. Because of this, Jackky was the one who went to welcome SRK — and Rakul was not happy about missing the chance.
She said,
“I got very upset that Jackky went by himself. I wanted to go meet him first!”
Later, Rakul got the opportunity to meet SRK over dinner. She described him as extremely warm, welcoming, and humble, just like how fans imagine him to be.

SRK’s Stay at Puja Casa
Shah Rukh Khan moved out of Mannat earlier this year due to renovation work. Reports say:
- He is staying in a four-floor luxury apartment at Puja Casa
- The rent is estimated to be over ₹25 lakh per month
- The property is valued at around ₹8.5 crore
- SRK is expected to stay there for the next couple of years
On SRK’s birthday this year, fans gathered outside Mannat as always, but the actor could not appear due to security concerns, since he currently does not reside at the house.
What’s Next for Shah Rukh Khan?
Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s action film “King”, which is set to release in 2026. The film is already creating buzz and is expected to be one of SRK’s biggest upcoming projects.
