What to Watch on OTT: Homebound, Relay, After The Hunt, Dining With The Kapoors & The Roses

This week, OTT platforms are packed with strong new releases. India’s official Oscar entry Homebound arrives with a lot of emotion. Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman bring their charm in The Roses. Thrillers, dramas, and family specials are all landing together, giving viewers plenty to pick from.

Homebound on Netflix

Homebound, directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, is one of the most powerful films of the year. It streams on Netflix from 21 November. The story follows two childhood friends, Shoaib and Chandan, played by Ishaan Khatter and Vishal Jethwa. Both dream of joining the police force, and that single dream shapes their whole lives. Janhvi Kapoor adds more emotion to their journey, making the film feel real, grounded and close to today’s young India.

This film is also India’s official entry for the 98th Academy Awards, which makes the release even more special. It blends Indian storytelling with a style that works globally.

Relay on Lionsgate Play

Relay brings together Riz Ahmed and Lily James in a tense thriller filled with secrets and danger. David Mackenzie directs the film. Riz Ahmed plays Ash, a mysterious fixer who works in the shadows. He solves problems for powerful people and stays invisible to protect himself. His quiet world breaks when he meets Sarah, played by Lily James. She uncovers a dangerous biotech secret that can start a corporate war.

When Sarah becomes the main target of those who want her silenced, Ash is forced to break his biggest rule — he can no longer stay hidden. The film becomes a gripping game of survival.

After The Hunt on Prime Video

Luca Guadagnino’s After The Hunt is a psychological drama that focuses on a college professor played by Julia Roberts. Her life turns upside down when a star student, played by Ayo Edebiri, accuses one of her colleagues, played by Andrew Garfield. This accusation pushes her into a messy and emotional situation.

At the same time, a dark secret from her own past begins to rise again. The story slowly builds tension, showing how personal and professional lives can crash together. Michael Stuhlbarg and Chloë Sevigny also appear in the film. It is now streaming on Prime Video.

Dining With The Kapoors on Netflix

Dining with the Kapoors is a warm and intimate Netflix special. Bollywood’s first film family comes together to celebrate Raj Kapoor on his 100th birthday. Armaan Jain created the show, and Smriti Mundhra directed it.

The special feels like you are sitting at the dinner table with them. You hear stories, jokes, and memories that have been a part of the Kapoor family for generations. Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and many others appear in the episode. It is shot like a natural, behind-the-scenes documentary and releases on 21 November.

The Roses on JioHotstar

The Roses, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman, also arrives this week on JioHotstar. The show brings humour, drama and strong performances from both actors. Even though details are being kept low, the combination of these two stars is enough to make viewers excited.

A Great Week for Entertainment Lovers

Whether someone wants a heartfelt drama, a sharp thriller, or a family-style documentary, this week has something for everyone. With so many different tones and genres releasing at the same time, OTT platforms feel more lively than ever.
